POINT CREATIVE AGENCY VISUAL IDENTITY
Point
Develop a logo and visual identity for the creative agency
Challenge
When I started work at Point Agency the brand was in its infancy. I was to oversee its development – creating a logo and developing a visual identity that would be distinct and bold.
Solution
After working on a number of concepts for the logo, I settled on one that was clean and straightforward – a target motif that alluded to the results-focussed ‘to the point’ nature of the agency.
It was decided quickly that with the visual identity we wanted something that everyone in the agency could work on, contributing to the brand whatever level they were. I developed a typographic style that allowed us to communicate verbally and visually, saying key things about the agency and our clients in a very graphic, yet very versatile, way. This would also allow the team to design to their strengths.
The black, white and red colour scheme was developed for boldness and dynamism. Such graphic colours meant that, whatever the design, work would always look ‘on Point’. (Honestly, these Point puns are endless…)
The graphics were then applied to the website, stationery and brand documents.
